Division
Explore the multiple divisions that form The Psychology Club!
Academic
Our club will form a mentorship group of psychology students recommended by professors who will offer support to juniors for projects and essays. We will also establish a peer mentor program specific to psychology and host experiential guest lectures on psychological concepts.
Research
Our club will focus on publishing research papers twice a year, sending out monthly newsletters, sharing conference alerts, and supporting student involvement in ongoing research at FLAME University.
Skills
Our club will recommend psychology certificate programs, conduct workshops on psychology, and provide guidance regarding the subject through collaborations with FLAME faculty and external experts.
Career Connect
We want to foster connections between current students, alumni, and faculty through inter-batch mixers, enabling discussions on courses, further education and job opportunities. We also wish to build a database of job opportunities for student internships.
Campus Activities
We aim to challenge misconceptions and social stigmas associated with psychology by organizing movie screenings, competitions, interdisciplinary collaborations with other clubs, participation in external psychology fests, NGOs and related organizations for student exposure.
Mental Health Advocacy
We advocate for the importance of psychology and mental health. Our mission is to spread awareness by posting factual information that resonates with both psychology enthusiasts and the broader public. As a club, we aim to use our platform to take a stand for mental health awareness. We will begin with a collaboration with the Community Service Club to develop a mental health curriculum for young minds in schools. Through these efforts, we aim to empower individuals and foster an environment that is supportive, inclusive, and prioritizes mental health and well-being. We are here to make an impact!
